Our school offers a co-educational, private learning context in northern Italy, delivering premium international tuition from Kindergarten to High School in picturesque Emilia-Romagna. In 1998, the school began educating students with a vision to provide an innovative school system anchored in traditional values.

Today, IS Modena's success is underpinned by the same mission: a strong connection with the local community, an international outlook, and high-quality qualifications. While English is the primary language of instruction for 3 to 18-year-olds, an Italian language programme supports students on their path towards bilingualism. IS Modena's excellent record of academic success helps graduates progress to the world’s most renowned universities.

As the first IB (International Baccalaureate) Continuum school in Emilia-Romagna, we are proud of the educational provision we offer on our beautifully green, specially-designed campus in Montale. Our multicultural community comprises students from 3 to 18 years of age who are taught the world-renowned, inquiry-based PYP, MYP and DP programmes.
